Dual Channel snowboard open source invention

This invention is using more than 1 channel for each binding on a snowboard.  It is an improvement over burtons linear channel system.  Also 1 channel for each binding or 1 channel on the whole board also is invented here as long as the channel is non linear and thus doesn't infringe on burtons channel design.  A curved channel is wtter than a straight channel because it helps prevent the binding sliding due to loose screws and reduces stress concentrations in the board.

The problem with burtons system is it only has 2 screws which hold the rotation and movement of each binding.  If just one screw comes loose then the entire binding can rotate.  This can cause injuries and much frustration.

In this invention there would be 3 or preferably 4 channels on the board.  Each binding would be able to connect to 2 channels (or more).  This means there could be 3 or even 4 screws to attach the binding to the board while still allowing the infinite adjustability of a channel.

These channels can even be curved or non linear, preferably in sine/cosine wave patterns and the two channels under each binding can even be out of phase with each-other, one a sine wave and one a cosine wave.  This would mean that if a screw did get loose that there isn't an easy linear path for the binding to slide, it would be more difficult to move even when loose.  Also non linear channels would also reduce the stress concentrations that a linear channel causes.  There could also be some connection between 2 screws so their distance between each-other is fixed which would effectively lock the binding and prevent it from sliding in the channels since the curves are out of phase.

Strontium makes batteries 133% as effective as lithium

Strontium produces a battery voltage of roughly 4.1 volts wheras lithium is 3 volts.  So strontium can be used to replace lithium and make even more powerful batteries.  Magnesium is a very safe metal and it is only 10% weaker than lithium at 2.7 volts.  So either magnesium or strontium can be used to replace or supplement lithium.

Intractable constipation natural treatment

Some constipation doesn't seem to be able to be treated with lubricants like oil or stimulant laxatives or fiber or excess magnesium.  This type probably has to do with pinworms or other parasites and clostridium botulinum bacteria and gluten sensitivity.  What I have found is that anti oxidants like Quercetin help greatly along with food grade diatomaceous earth but what helps even more is potassium bicarbonate.  It seems like if the body is low on bicarbonate it can't regulate bowel movements.

Biomimetic flapping fan blades open source invention

In the quest for the flying car we need to generate more lift.  The cryogenic (liquid nitrogen cooled normal copper wound) motor will give us the energy efficiency we need.  However generating lift at low speeds with no wings presents a challenge.  To overcome this we need better fans.  Enter bio mimicry.  Based on this video I developed a new fan blade technology.

A flapping fan-blade.  Here is the cross-sectional profile of an example fan.  The numbers represent the blade number.


As you can see the blades have various profiles so as each blade passes a reference point the blades "flap" like a robin in vertical takeoff.  Also the blade profiles cycle for smooth back and forth flapping motion.  This is the 2D profile but the 3D profile could have various shapes as well preferably modeled after vertical takeoff birds as well.  Also the blade length can be shorter for the more horizontal pieces so they don't take up too much space on the rotor, and even multiple horizontal pieces can be stacked vertically in the same vertical space as one of the more vertical blades.

Those little legs simulate the vibration of the bottom of the thinderbird wings which create the loud thunder sound of the flight of the thunderbird.

Metal Brushed Oil Filled Motor Open Source Hardware Motor Invention

This invention can be termed "Coordinate Switching" (not to be confused with "coordinate motor" which is a separate but complimentary technology) This open source invention is about a metal (or metal based composite) brushed motor.  It can be any type of electric motor; AC, DC, or another type.  It doesn't have to be oil filled, it can be lubricated with anything but oil filled would be a typical version.

In a typical brushed motor graphite is used as a brush material.  This serves 2 purposes, first to lubricate the brush contacts to prevent damage and overheating and secondly to limit electrical shorting between the positive and negative terminals that the brush contacts with.

However graphite is a very poor conductor.  Not only is it a couple of orders of magnitude worse than metals (10^-6 vs 10^-8 resistivity) but also transverse to the graphene sheet plane graphite is 3 more orders of magnitude worse.  Dennis Berube countered that problem of adding multiple wires into the brush reducing the need for transverse electron flow with great success.

If metal were used instead of graphite we would have astronomical increases in conductivity but also a few issues would arise.

1. friction.  Graphite on graphite has a 0.1 frictional coefficient.  Copper on copper is 1.  So that would mean to use copper we would have 10x more friction and much more heat produced.  This can be countered by having oiled brush contacts which would bring copper down to even better than graphite at 0.08.  This could be achieved by most probably oil filling the motor (which can also be used to help cool the motor just like a traditional motor is cooled) or just any method that achieves oiling the brush contacts.

2. Shorting.  From what I have seen a single brush for some length of time during the rotation contacts and therefore shorts out the positive and negative commutator segments.  This isn't such a big deal for graphite brushed motors because not only is the conductivity of graphite just pretty low to begin with but across the graphene sheets like we said is even worse.  If we want to use metal brushes this limitation can be countered by having multiple offset commutators.  So basically in a metal brushed motor the brushes would simply not be big enough to contact both proximal commutator segments at the same time.  This would mean you would need multiple rotationally offset commutators (or one commutator designed to acbieve the same effect)so there are no "dead zones" where the rotation could be and the motor can't start or produce torque.

Coordinate DC motor open source invention

I will term this open source invention the Coordinate DC Motor or Staged DC Motor or Multi-Series DC Motor, my preference is to call it a Coordinate DC Motor.  In a normal series DC motor you have one field winding that takes all the power and it is connected in series with the commutator (rotor).  This is good because the electricity waste from creating the magnetic field in the stator is recycled to power the rotor.  The problem is that you can't control the power in the rotor and stator separately.  I had the idea of having multiple inputs on the rotor so you could add current to the rotor without putting it through the stator first.  Then I thought you could control the differing amounts by using resistor(s).  But then we are back to the first problem that series solved, instead of recycling the energy a resistor will loose it.  So I thought why not make the resistor just separate field coils?  So that is what I did.  You have 2 or more (could be any number) of separate field windings that all output to the rotor.  They could be of any size or resistance/impedance.  They could all be the same or all different in any respect.  Each of these windings could have a different resistance so you can choose or vary which windings get how much current to be able to control how much magnetic field is produced in proportion to how much power the rotor gets.  Another use for the coordinate design is to modify the magnetic field.  You could have the same voltage and amperage going to the stator and rotor as a normal series motor but the positioning and number of the stator windings could vary the size and shape of the magnetic field to improve torque, efficiency, control, etc.  Similar things could be done for the rotor wires but that is beyond the scope of this invention.

Tetracalcium Perphosphate and Perhydroxyapatite open source peroxide invention

Tetracalcium phosphate (TTCP) is a well known compound used for creating hydroxyapatite (HAP) when combined in the stoichiometric ratio with dicalcium phosphate.  I have used these two ingredients in my TEEF powder to aid in remineralizing teeth.  It appears that peroxides are actually used to attach hydroxyapatite to teeth in saliva.  So my invention is creating tetracalcium phosphate peroxide to not only aid even more in remineralizing teeth, but to whiten a bit as well.  Also Perhydroxyapatite or hydroperoxyapatite or hydroxyapatite peroxide could also be made to use in a teeth product to aid in remineralization as well.

These peroxides are easy to make, just mix finely ground tetracalcium phosphate and/or hydroxyapatite powder into some concentration of hydrogen peroxide and let the peroxide attach to the TTCP or HAP molecules.  Temperature should be kept controlled around 30c for best results.  Then filter and dry and you have the respective peroxides.
